Character Breakfast At Nick Hotel?

We are staying at Royal Pacific for 3 nights and the Nickelodeon Suite hotel for 2 nights. Has anyone done the Character Breakfast?
It sounds like you don't know what characters will be there? Do you make reservations or just show up?
We've done WDW and IOA character breakfasts and we always had to make ressies!

You would probably get more answers on the Orlando Resorts boards

Since the Nick Hotel is not affiliated with Universal in anyway, it doesn't get a lot of threads here.

But since it is actually closer to WDW than Universal, there seems to be many reviews over on the Orlando Resorts board.
