Character Breakfast at IOA

HI ALL!!

I am going to be in Orlando from July 24th to August 7th.

As there are going to be 2 kids with my family this year (5 and 2), we are trying to fit in more child-orientated things that they will enjoy. I really really want to take them to a character breakfast! Ever since I was wee, I always wanted to go to one of these but was never taken (everybody all together now- 'awwwwwww' )

I know summer is such a busy time so do you think I could get a reservation?
Has anyone done this before?

I actually read something on one of the trip reports about this very thing. You can call ahead and make reservations. In fact I believe someone had suggested that.

Bring the whole family and enjoy breakfast with Spider-Man and The Cat in the Hat
at Islands of Adventure's Confisco Grille,
each Thursday through Sunday morning from park opening to 10:30 a.m.

The breakfast is $15.95 for Adults and $9.95 for children, plus tax and gratuity.

Call 407-224-4012 for reservations.

GemmaPixie: we did it in Feb....just call ahead and make ressies...you shouldn't have a problem

We did this breakfast our first morning during our 2005 trip - what a way to kick off the week! The food was really good - something to please everyone. The characters were fabulous. There was Spiderman, Cat, Thing 1 and Thing 2. It was a great experience! Have fun!!

We just booked for June 23.
I got 9:30 res. so we could ride spiderman first then go have breakfast with him.
