Has anyone done this and what were your thoughts? I would love to go when we are there in Jan/Feb. My kids love Mary Poppins and I thought it would be a great surprise for them!

We went once and did not enjoy it at all. Yucky food that was dried out and too salty and the restaurant is so loud you cannot hear yourself think. I want to try it again but DH is against it because of the noise factor.

It was also loud when we were there, but we were a lot luckier with the food. I love, love, LOVED the lobster eggs benedict and the strawberry soup. We had really good character interaction too!

We're going in Sept and I might do a one page review of our dining experience so I will let you know.

We ate there two weeks ago. The buffet food was fine, but the cook-to-order eggs were hard!!! Had to use a knife to cut the omelet. My over-easy eggs were hard too.

The characters are great. The Mad Hatter was a riot. If you take a picture of him, notice that he is able to cross only his right eye. I saw this when I got my pictures back. My kids loved him.

Mary Poppins is just beautiful and sweet. You will enjoy the characters. Again, the food is okay and it is loud in there.

When we went last summer, Mary Poppins was only in the lobby for pics. Alice, Mad Hatter, and the Pooh characters visited the tables.

I did the character breakfast there. I was up toasting a slice of bread, when I suddenly heard my name called in a shrill voice. I quickly popped up the bread and was heading back to the table, and I heard it again.

It was the Mad Hatter calling me. DH was still at the table, and the Hatter showed up. He asked DH if everyone had abandoned him. DH indicated we were only a party of two, and I was up getting some food. The Hatter asked my name, and the rest is history.

That is too funny!
