Hi! We will be at WDW on my birthday this year, and I would really like to do a character breakfast. We will be a party of 6, all adults, and I am looking for recommendations. We will be staying at VWL, and will not have a car.

Before we had chldren we loved 1900 Park Fare at the GF. The food was great and the characters were fun for adults too. We were at AKL and just took the bus to MK and then the monorail to GF. I am sure you can do something similar from VWL. Have fun!!!

Do you have a preference for which characters you want to celebrate with? :confused3

If you like Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet, then breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the MK would be good.

Or, if you like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, maybe do Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary hotel.

Or, you could see Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto at 'Ohana in the Polynesian.

Or, the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, and Mary Poppins are at the 1900 Park Fare breakfast in the Grand Floridian.

There are quite a few others, too. I'd recommend picking which characters are your favorite and eating there.

Enjoy your birthday!!

I would suggest Cape May Cafe. The 2 times we went it wasn't as loud as Donalds,CM, or CP.

We have been to 1900 Park Faire at GF and Crystal Palace at MK. We liked both in different ways. 1900 PF was a more adult atmosphere but the food was better at CP. Either way, both are good and you would havve a blast. As the PP said, though, go with one that has the characters you like.

We found the food at Crystal Palace to be better than the food elsewhere, but we still liked both Chef Mickey's and 'Ohana very much. The added attraction of CP is, if you go for an 8am reservation, getting into Magic Kingdom when nobody is there. We have a page in our scrapbook dedicated to pictures taken that morning of an empty Main Street.

Thanks everyone. I was leaning towards the CP, mainly because we haven't eaten there in years. The idea of the early morning on Main Street really sealed it. Now to call and see if I can get in!

We love CP. Hope you get it! :goodvibes

Dh and I (not kids) wanted the same thing. After searching the reviews, we chose CP. I hope you get in:thumbsup2

We have an ADR at the CP for 8:05. All is well in my WDW planning world!;)

I was going to say the same thing. Plus they have some good food there. My husband is a big fan of the blintzes.
