DH wants to do a Pooh & Friends character breakfast "for the kids". Sure it's for the kids;) . What you have to know is that it took me months to get him to agree to a Disney vacation at all. I think he's finally getting excited about the trip. Me, well...I've been bouncing off the walls ever since he said okay.

Anyhow, which is the better meal and character interaction? They're both buffets aren't they? I'm leaning towards 1900 Park Faire but we've never been to either.

Thank-you!!

Hmmm, maybe Pooh & friends are only there for dinner? I read on another site (I know, shame on me) that it's Mary Poppins & friends for breakfast. I thought it was Pooh because I read a trip report that mentioned Pooh but they had went for supper. So now I'm not sure about it. All I'm certain about is that is has to be Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and a breakfast and a buffet.

In addition to Mary Poppins and Friends, Pooh and a "friend" are on the schedule for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. And its a buffet. The regular Pooh characters (though exactly which characters show up isn't guaranteed) are at Tony's but its not a buffet (its pre-plated, all you can eat). Dinner at 1900 Park Fare is all Pooh & Friends and a buffet.

So if it has to be breakfast, which is more important--a buffet or all the Pooh characters? I've dined at Tony's but not since its been a character breakfast and I've dined at 1900 PF but not for almost three years, so I can't really help on that front. LOL

we did the tony's breakfast just a few weeks ago and it was great! we were a party of 4 adults and the character interaction was fun! the food is plated and plentiful. the cinnamon roll is wonderful; they bring this beforehand. and of course there is italian toast served w/breakfast. no wonder we were rolling out of there!! the plated breakfast was yummy. one in our party had the "healthy" choice of granola and yougurt and she declared it too was yummy.:p

When are you going? Crystal Palace will be reopening and Pooh and friends are there as well. CP is a buffet. We are going for first time in Feb to CP can't wait.

Rneighh, thanks for the idea. I forgot they were reopening while are there. We'll be there from Dec 7 to the 18th. I think CP will be more of the atmosphere I'm looking for, still a buffet and Pooh & friends ... everybody will be happy!

Thanks!!!!!

I had read somewhere, sorry that I don't remember where, that the target date was Dec 15. That would be a Sunday and we are hoping for a PS on Dec 17. If CP is open then we'll take that otherwise it's still anyone's guess. :D
