We are thinking of buying booksacks and having them personalized for each person to carry on an upcoming trip. Will the characters sign them if there are things in them? Is that allowed?

Yes. Characters can and do sign backpacks

I would say if there is stuff in them, just make sure to hold the bags steady for them to sign.

But yes they'll totally sign the bags!

They will sign just about anything, but keep in mind, especially with a Sharpie, they need a nice firm surface to sign on, so the pen doesn't skip and their siggy can be smooth!

I'm going to piggy back on this thread with a question.

We have cardstock for the characters to sign and bought a clipboard. Will it be easier for me to hand them 1 sheet at a time, or all 4 at once? Will the handlers help the gloved characters?
