Character Autographs

Has anyone found that their children aren't interested in getting character autographs? I was going to get autograph books but when I really thought about it, I'm not sure my 2 DS's would care about an autograph. They would probably want to meet the characters (although my DS4 is terrified of Chuckie Cheese mouse so not sure there) but not sure they'd be interested in getting an autograph. Anyone else?

My DD wasn't top keen on it the first couple of trips, but now it's a highlight of every vacations to the World. They don't have to sign books...the characters will also sign shirts, hats, totes, just not the clothes you're wearing at that moment. You have to provide the Sharpie. Maybe your kids would like to pick a t-shirt the first day & have the characters all sign that one item? Or, you could always make a photo collage of them with all the characters when you get home...pictures are just as nice!

I picked up an inexpensive notebook, put some Miceky stickers on the pages, and away we went. I figured if she didn't get any autographs we at least had a notepad with us! :lol:

DD wasn't interested until our last trip (she was almost 4). She has never been afraid of meeting the characters but didn't care about getting their autographs.

anice diser shared with me pages for a autograph book \5x7 sixe big enough to add a photo to it
and small enought to carry around
i picked the pages I wanted and had them spiral bound at staples
worked great

My DD was 3 during our first visit and she wasn't interested in the autographs but I got them anyway and took her picture with the Character. Once we got home I glued her picture with the character on the opposite side of the page as their signature. Now she loves her autograph book and will look at it often. The other day she noticed it stop and there were several more pages to be filled and said "It's not full I need more!" I just laughed and told her to talk to her dad.
