Character autograph question

If you meet up with a character more than once (maybe a character meal and then in the park) do you only get the autograph once? I have scheduled several character meals with all of the main characters and some of the characters are going to be at more than one of the meals. Do you just get their autograph once, but still take pictures?

With children I'd only get it once (you've got the one-and-only Mickey's autograph already, right? ). If you don't have children with you, there's no reason not to get it again if you want to, but do you really want to stand in line for something you already have? I'd spend the time touring (but I'm not big on the autographs so I'm less likely to stand in line anyway).

Yeah, I won't be standing in any lines for autographs that I already had. I guess, my question should be geared more towards the character meals. If a character is at more than one meal we attend, do I just put the autograph book away when that character approaches our table?

My 2 kids don't care if they've already gotten the autograph...they just get it again. If we're at a character meal & there's no line waiting involved, & we're going to take a picture anyway...they get the autograph again.

That's what my daughters do. But if your kids feel like getting the autograph again, I say go for it!

Last trip we saw the same characters at several meals, and once we had their autograph, the next time we saw them at a meal, we just moved the autograph book out of the way and therefore had a little more time for pictures or interaction with our son. Having said that, we already had Mary Poppins' autograph when we had breakfast at Cindy's castle. Mary told my son with her proper British accent, "Oh yes I remember you!" and grabbed the autograph book from the other side of the table and flipped through it and wrote in it. After she left we saw next to her original autograph she had written, "Again!" It was a great Disney magic moment.

My kids could pose for pics with the characters all day over and over but the autographs we get once.

We had no choice in the matter we were at chef mickys and chip kept comming to our table and autographing my sons book. Very funny ! At the end of our trip I looked at his book chip signed it 4 times

Hey!
I get autographs again and again, its funny how many duplicats I have in my book of the same character. But the different pictures are nice to have.
