Character Autograph Question

I was wondering if there are any characters who don't or can't sign autographs. I want to think there were a few who could not sign the last time we went but I can't remember who exactly. Do the Star Wars characters sign autographs? All 3 of our girls will have their own autograph book and it would be great to know ahead of time if possible who does and who does not so we have less to juggle at certain meet and greets.
