Character audition... heights?

Alright... I'm auditioning in a week for character performer and I'm really nervous. I'll be happy with whatever I could be offered, but I have my heart set on a face character (as I'm sure most do). I'm only BARELY 5'2". And I hear that in Disney they make you an inch shorter. Is this true? If so, I'm barely 5'1''? I don't know. I know that's mice height so I could be Mickey or Minnie. And I know that it's Alice and Wendy height... and Tink... but does that mean Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn and Silvermist too? My heart is set on a fairy... but I have dark hair and eyebrows so I don't know if I can pass as Tink :(
I was reallllllly hoping for Rosetta or Silvermist! Seriously, ANY info will help.

They make you whatever height they want you to be. It's "Disney Height" as opposed to your real height. They measured me down by a half inch or so when I auditioned, I believe - it was hard to read upside-down what they wrote on my sheet.

As for face vs. fur - you'll be doing both, if you get face. You start out in fur, and can still get shifts in that even if you are face too.

Also .. for mice, you have to be 5 foot or under.

I noticed this a few weeks ago when we finally met Mickey and Minnie.

I am not a college student (well I am a grad student), but I always joke with my husband about moving down to FL when we retire and getting "retirement" jobs at Disney. Now I know I *could* play a mouse. I am 4'10" LOL!

And it is not guaranteed that they will change your height to a "Disney height"- some people get measured down or up, some people don't.
