Character and Show Fastpasses

I read on a different thread that shows like Illuminations and Fastasmic as well as character meet and greats there are limited number of fastpasses. Is that true? It seems likely since everytime I look online these fastpasses are already done for the day but rides like soarin or Rock n Rollercoaster are still available.

What you read is correct. Parades and fireworks are even more limited because so many of them happen only once per day.
