We'll be staying at the GF and jetlagged (think wakeup time for the kids 5am) so I thought we'd get 'meeting Mickey' out of the way early in the day/vacation with a first available PS at either CM or Ohana's. We reckon this could save us valuable touring time in the MK by avoiding the queues in Toontown, and kicking the vacation off to a good start (kidwise).

Which is better? We have a 2yo and a 4yo. The 4yo is shy, but loves the characters in restrospect (doesn't say a word when he's with them, but can't stop talking about meeting them afterwards). The 2yo is a complete attention-lover and will play happily with the characters and follow them around (if allowed).

Any advice?- we're planning on the food not being so great, and have done the Pooh b'fast at 1900 park fare.

If your kids like a loud party type atmosphere than Chef Mickey's is the way to go. It is a really nice kick off to your visit.

We love the character breakfast. The kids are so excited to see the mouse.:bounce:

We love Chef Mickeys and eat there first to see all the characters before we hit the parks. We get pictures and autographs done there so we do not have to wait on the long lines in the parks or sometimes not even find these characters in the parks. Like donald duck. He is hard to find sometimes.....

Weve had dinner at Chef Mickeys and we did not like the food at all. They do take the best pictures and yes you get to see Donald which is great. It was very busy when we went and we felt a bit rushed. Each character did not stop at our table either.

We did have breakfast at Ohanas, all the characters stopped at our table, I really liked the food and it wasnt as crowded either. Much more relaxed.

However, I would like to spend the rest of my life at the Polynesian, so I just might be a little partial;)

Either way im sure youll enjoy yourself!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Have fun

We just did a breakfast at Chef Mickeys and it was great. The napkin dance is always a hit.
