Changing to an earlier flight?

hey all

im going back to the world on Dec 16th and am currently booked on the 2nd virgin flight of the day from LGW. I was just wondering if i contacted them, would they be able to put me on the earlier flight? There would only be me so not a large group. If this is possible would there be a charge?

Did you book with Virgin Holidays? If so:

Assuming there was availability they should be able to do this for you. I would have thought they will insist you pay an amendment fee of £25 (per person, so if it's just you it's only £25).

That's in their terms and conditions, but you never know, you might speak to a nice Virgin person who will waive the fee.

If you booked with Virgin Atlantic I think it depends on what type of ticket class you bought as to whether there will be a charge, but I'm not so sure on this

we booked my parents onto the flight after ours, as ours was full then spaces opened up and we enquired about moving them but it would have been nearly 200 pounds to move them so we left them on later flight
