Im sure im getting swept along with excitement at the news this morning but hey im asking you guys to be the voice of reason and to ground me a bit !!

Wayne has come home this morning with the news that he has a week holiday left which needs to be taken before end Dec and the oppurtunity is there to have the week before our holiday !:thumbsup2

Do we chaneg everything to make it a 3 week hols or be happy with some down time before we go ?

The villa we are going to hasnt got availabilty however the christain lewis villa can be used and the lovely lady there told me to go for it !!!

realistically how much more does it cost to add on a week and arrrggghhhh is it really a dillemma ??

For me it would be a no brainer :goodvibes

The extra expense would come from car hire, extra meals and park tickets.
Car hire can't really helped. Extra meals - you could just promise yourself that you will eat at the villa more rather than in restaurants, and you don't have to go to the parks anymore times than you had planned to but if you get the Ultimate tickets it would give you that option :thumbsup2

I totally agree. No brainer, do the 3 weeks. We never go any less than that anymore to maximise the flight prices.

Louise, you would be an absolute fool if you didnt go for 3 weeks:scared1::scared1:

As Kenny says, the only real cost would be the extra for the car. You can make savings in plenty of other areas, ie eating out etc, and after everything you have been through, you deserve to treat yourselves:cloud9:

GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay::yay:

Can you change your flights?

If you can go for it, 3 weeks will be a much more relaxed holiday than 2 weeks.

We can change the flights with no penalty so yes thats not an issue !!

Really Im not sure there is an issue it just sounds too good to be true to be fair !!;)

You came on here for people to ground you a bit :lmao::lmao:

Bad idea;)

Definatley do the 3 weeks, it sounds like you have been through a bit of a hard time lately:hug:, so grab onto the extra week and do it!!:hippie:

Oh if you've been through a bad time too (don't know just reading the PP) then you all DESERVE it! :) Go on DO IT! It will only make you happy.

Just to add some more fuel to the fire - if you did go for 3 weeks there is nothing to say that you can't just spend the first week chilling by the villa pool. :goodvibes

well gee thanks guys for the grounding :lmao::lmao:

So Ive emailed everyone we need to to get new quotes and now we are getting really excited :dance3::dance3::dance3:

So wayne is going to get his backside into work and say yes yes yes to the extra week !!!
Then im going to be so excited I wont be able to speak :lmao::banana::banana:

I'd have to go for it i'm afraid......

I think you all deserve a bit of luck - go for it! :goodvibes:goodvibes

let us know what you do................3 weeks is fantastic. Only managed it once as I work in a school and the summer holidays is a no-go for us. You lucky things go for it!!

lucky you GO FOR IT

wouldnt have to ask me twice

enjoy the new planning

I'd go for 3 weeks if I could (our work has helpfully banned longer hols!)

My only note of caution would be to check with the school or education authority if you are taking children out for 15 days. I know in our area upto 10 days are fine but after than you are in fines territory.

I am a little worried about this aspect but Im hoping after the year we have had that teh schools are leniant ????? I can hope :)

after all the cr ap you have had from that school, lack of support i would say go for it!!
would id fall nicely during the xmas holidays?
speak to the school, ben should be ok, play on the educative side, they should accept under your families circumsatnces you needed the extra time.
due to circustances:rotfl2: we ended up eating in the villa, kids were happy enough eating there...go for it honey xx
ps for information, you said that we would have food confiscated going to US/IOA, on 3 different occasions we took food into the park- no questions asked...
this could make the difference of a few hundred $$

Omg you really were allowed to take food in - that has shocked me :scared1:

My kids dont mind eating in Villa we tend to a lot anyway because then I know Keira wont be ill no big deal when you swim in pool whilst it cooks :)
Im thinking of going for the sob story with bens school and playing on the fact he will learn how not to be sick when he goes upside down on rides :lmao:

As for the other 3 school i have a few words for them if they DARE to say its not allowed !!:headache:
