Okay, we have a group of 16 people (mostly kids) going next week to Disney. Someone in our group (chaperone) can no longer go, and I’m taking their place. Her ticket has been linked to her account and she has a park reservation. I believe I saw that she can transfer the ticket to me in the app. But what happens to her park reservations. The one day is for MK and there is no availability for the day everyone is going there. Or will I just have to use her ticket as is? Is that even possible?

I had to call Disney recently and have them reassign a ticket from my dad's profile to my daughter (long story but he could not do it)... I had already made a park reservation for him with that ticket and when they assigned it to my daughter, it kept the same park reservation for her. I would suggest calling them and see if they can do it for you to keep the reservation.

This is not what usually happens; they must have done something in the system to have the park reservation transferred along with the ticket. So I agree with your suggestion about calling to ask if it can be done in this case.

That very well may be true... the CM I talked with was like 'do you need a park reservation for her... oh wait-- it already shows her having the same park as the rest of the party".... so it might have been a fluke? Or maybe something changed. In any case, it was doable/done when I called.

It is worth calling. You both would probably need to be in the room or on the line. explain the situation and maybe say that you are now the designated chaperone. Maybe they will understand and be able to do something for you.

I’ve got the ticket in my name and have a park reservation now. I don’t know what she did to achieve this. I can’t seem to link it to my MDE though, but I haven’t seen the actual ticket yet, so maybe when I’ve got that, I can link it.
