Changing the Spires of Cinderella Castle?!

Just saw this pop up on Facebook. I don't know how true this is?

Anyone there currently that can give an update?! (Also is the crane still up?)

No they are not changing the color. The silver paint is a base coat or primer before the put the blue on.

It's been up for most of September. Will come down when they finish installing the castle lights.

The article was actually late. The spires had been silver for a few weeks.

I would except it to be down relatively soon.
They were still doing some painting on the spires today, but a good portion of the lights are up already - 60% maybe (compared to 10% last weekend)
