Hi All- We are a family of 4 staying at BCV in March. My parents are joining us for the last 2 nights. Since we have a 2BR lock-off, our kids will be sleeping in the 2nd bedroom until my parents arrive (then moving to the pullout in the living room and giving the studio lock-off to my parents. How can we go about getting new sheets for the bed in the studio portion?
Thx for any ideas/info on this.

I would just call housekeeping, I think they'll bring them. Or since you have the washer/dryer, just wash the sheets and use them again.

Thanks! Yes, of course, I could wash them :) Just goes to show how I envision vacation time...I was hoping for housekeeping to come and change them. I remember that you can pay for a full room cleaning, right? Sorry, I wasn't clear.

Yes, you can call housekeeping and pay for a full cleaning.

A full cleaning is $60 for a 2 bedroom. I would wash them yourself. You could buy sheets for that price!

The problem with washing them is that the washer is not very big. You may have to wash the sheets one at a time. If you are washing top and bottom sheets for two beds, that's four loads. ETA: I see you have a lockoff and are only concerned with changing the sheets on the bed, so that's two loads instead of four.

And if the dryers at BCV are as bad as the ones at BWV, it will take several dryer cycles to dry each sheet, meaning that you will spend a good chunk of time doing this. You could use the free laundry room instead so you could wash and dry a couple of loads at a time. Personally, I would pay for the room cleaning, especially if you can request a cleaning for just the studio portion rather than for the entire 2BR. Another option is to ask them what they would charge you just to give you clean sheets and towels and let you change the beds yourself.

Thank you so much everyone for the suggestions. The dryer at BCV is terrible...it could take 2-3 cycles to dry a small load of clothing. But, I am thinking that they would be happy to just bring us another set of sheets (well maybe not happy but definitely willing, right?).

Wow...$60 seems a bit much! I was considering it to have a fresh clean room when the parents arrive...but for $60 we can tidy up ourselves :)

Since it's a lock off, could you pay less and just have the studio portion cleaned?

But you will have an extra set of clean sheets already -- the ones for for the sofa bed you plan to transfer your kids to.

I agree... use the sheets for the sofa bed for your parents and just swap sheets for a real quick fix or call and see if you can get a set sent up for you.
