Changing text of a link

If I post a link like the one I have now in my signature is there a way I can change it to text instead of the link?

I figured something out but is there an easier way to do it then using the BB code editor?

I usually type the text I want first, then highlight it and add the link (using the little "link" button in the toolbar, looks like two links of a chain).
