Changing room ressies after ADRs made

Looking for a little help here. Back in Jan I booked a rm only ressie and at 180 days made all my dining ressies. I now have a chance to get FD so I will have to have a rm only for 2 days and pkg for 7 days. If I shorten my rm only ressies with all my adrs attached to that ressie will I lose them or will it be a problem for the HDD or Luau? I don't want to take a chance and change anything if I don't have to as that's when problems happen and I love all my times. TIA

Your ADR's are independent of your resort reservation. They won't be cancelled.

I don't know if FD is being offered at the front or back end of your trip, but I thought I'd pass along something I learned on the DIS boards and it worked for me just in case it will help you. I am arriving on the last day of FD in November and staying during a "blackout" period". Since I am arriving on a day when FD is offered, I called and got FD for my entire trip. They sent me a confirmation email and I saved $700!

If you are arriving before FD starts, this won't work for you and you will have to change to a split reservation, but just thought I would share in case it will help you. I was worried about the same thing as you bc I thought I might get a pin code or they would put a better offer out there before I paid in full and wasn't sure if I would have problems with my ADR's. Doing the way I did it, it didn't change my reservation number at all so I didn't have to worry about it.
