Changing resorts without being homeless!

On Thursday we left BCV just before 10 AM, being sure to check out at the front desk, because we booked a 1 bedroom at BLT for our last night so we could see Hallowishes easily, plus we wanted a washer/dryer because we were flying to visit our Houston family and wanted clean clothes. We needed to go into Epcot, it would be our fourth F&W visit and we wanted our cutting boards!

At 11, I got the message that our room was not ready, but at 11:12, one came that it was!

We checked in to BLT by 11:30!

Thank you to those who do check out early, and to BLT housekeeping, our room was perfect, and had a great view!

Bobbi - glad things worked out for you. Cathie and I arrive in 18 days for our only F&W visit this year. Would love to get a cutting board but not this year. We come back in Early December for MVMCP.

We we switch resorts, we take what we need for the day and have Disney move our stuff. Rarely do we show up at the other room before early evening.

Great for you! When we checkout early, we always notify housekeeping so that they will know they can clean it. If more guests would do that, rooms would turn over quicker.

Yes get the cutting board. We got them then had some characters sign my granddaughters cutting board.

That's great! When we do a split stay, e plan a full day to be homeless. If we get a room early, we still don't get to the room until early afternoon.

If we're on a trip with park tickets, we do the same. If we're without park tickets we try to coordinate a little closer to the check-out/check-in times. OnLy time we miscalculated was a trip when we were transferring from BWV to the SWAN;
we didn't realize at the time that Disney Bell Services were separate from the SWAN Bell Services. I wound up rolling our luggage by myself; thankfully they are pretty close to one another, and the weather was nice that day.
