Changing Resorts With 4/3 Deal

We're currently booked at the Poly with the 4/3 deal....we were planning on having 5 in our party. I found out today that we'll only be a party of 4. Normally, we stay at the WL, but decided on the Poly this trip due to the extra person. Can I switch from the Poly to the WL and keep my 4/3 deal even though the booking window is expired?

There have been a few posts that suggest that people have successfully made changes to an existing 4/3 deal. I believe someone switched resorts; but be prepared to go through the motions of Disney - you will probably have to speak to a manager or guest services or what one person called "Travel Trade." Also it will depend if anything was available under the promotion at your new resort for your dates. If those rooms were already sold out, then you will be out of luck.

I booked Old Key West with the 4/3 deal before it expired on 3/31. I just called tonight and the Disney Travel representative was able to change the reservation to the Polynesian in less than 3 minutes! It depends if rooms allotted for the 4/3 promotion were not sold out.

I missed the 4/3 deal-can someone tell me what the deal was?

I plan on going to Walt Disney World May 10-13 and looking for a good deal -if thats possible?

I need 1 room (1 adult & child)

Sorry - the 4/3 deal has ended. You can no longer book a vacation using the 4/3 deal -- which was pay for 4 night hotel and tickets and get three nights free. The questions in this post are dealing with those who booked when the promotion was active and now they want to make a change to their already existing reservations.

We upgraded rooms in the same resort (AKL) last week. When DH called to try to switch resorts (he suddenly wanted to stay in the Poly) he was not able to for our dates. Like other posters have said, it depends on if they have rooms open that were in the promotion.
