Changing Resorts Question??

We will be checking out of a studio at OKW on 11/25/08 and checking into a 2bedroom at SSR. I'm not sure the best way to handle this. We want to make EMH at Epcot so would need to be on the bus by approx 7:00 to get to Epcot in time. Should I get up super early and check in before we do Epcot or just wait until the afternoon to check in. I will have my vehicle so I can just put all luggage in the car and drive to SSR however, I may need bell services to store a few fridge items. Any ideas?? Thanks, Lori

I think I would go to SSR early, just in case there is a 2 bedroom available. However, you may not be able to check-in as the resort computers may not be reset quite that early. Even if you can't check-in, you can drop your luggage and refrigerated items off with SSR bell services.

Another good alternative would be to pack your refrigerated items in an inexpensive styro ice chest, along with enough ice to keep it cold (ice machines are located at the bus stops and pool/laundry rooms at OKW) then the night before arrange for OKW bell services to make an early pick-up from your room, and have them transfer the luggage and ice chest to SSR.

Thanks Chuck!! Is it possible to go to SSR solo to check in while the rest of the party finishes getting ready?

Yes, one person can check-in for the family, but again, the computer may not be able to handle check-ins quite that early, but you could drop off your luggage and ice chest or refrigerated items.

I guess I would probably check in at SSR before leaving for EMH, and then just take the SSR bus to EMH.
