Changing resorts or changing to TA - impact on FPs and ADRs?

Hi! Apologies as I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but my searches failed to come up with answers. I'm thinking about shopping around to see if I can get some better rates on some existing WDW trips. I currently have room only reservations. What will the impact be on existing FPs and ADRs if I - (1) switch to a different resort, booked directly through Disney, or (2) switch my reservation to a travel agent (either at the same resort or a different one)? Thanks so much!

Probably no impact. ADRs and FP+ are linked to MDE and not your resort reservation.

I'm assuming that all of your ADRs are already inside the 180-day window that an offsite guest would have? If so, then they won't be canceled.

If you are between 60 days and 30 days prior to arrival, you could cancel a resort reservation and keep your FP+, but you would not be able to modify them until you are inside of the 30-day window for offsite guests. If you were to make a new resort reservation that covers those same dates, you would still be able to modify those FP+ inside the 60-30 day window just like any other onsite resort guest.

ADR have no impact whatsoever.
A resort reservation isn't needed to book them.
The only thing you need a resort reservation for is to unlock booking 10+ at 180 days. Otherwise, anyone can book ADR

FP are fine as long as you have A resort reservation in the system so whatever you do don't cancel the one you have first. If you want to move to a TA, do that and then cancel the one with Disney.
If you plan to change resorts and stay with Disney direct, then just call them, they'll handle it all. Or you may be able to do it all yourself online. Many can

It may depend on when you are looking to book a stay.
