Just got back from two nights at SSR and one night at BCV. We decided to leave SSR in the morning, in our bathing suits, as the plan was to hang out at the SAB all day. We asked one of the bell hops at SSR to call us a taxi. It took about 10 minutes for the taxi to get there, and the fare was only $11 (plus tip) to BCV.

Definitely worth it when time = money. :thumbsup2 If we had taken buses I'm sure it would have taken a lot more time. And also, it was nice to know that our luggage was at the front desk when we could check in.

Very good advice! That's what I would do from now on. I've used Disney to move my luggage twice now and it has been an all day proposition....I really want to have my bags with me. It's taxis for me!

I think sometimes people don't think about doing the taxi thing. When you are paying $8.00 for a glass of wine, what's another $15.

I had a bad experience getting my bag when checking in (ME), so I didn't want to take chances again. We checked into SSR at 12:30. We couldn't get into our room until 4:30, and there were no bags. I kept calling Bell Services, but they didn't answer. I called the front desk and mentioned the 3 hour rule. She told me it's 3 to 5 hours to get your luggage.

When I finally got through to bell services, they said they were bring up my luggage. That was 5:30ish. Wrong bag. At 6:00ish I finally got the right one. We had to cancel our 6:00 pm ADR, but luckily we got another for 6:45.
