Changing resorts and ordering magicbands

i currently have a room reserved for April 10-18. I have to order my magicbands in the next few days. I might change my resort in the next few weeks depending on if something opens up.
If I book a different resort after I order my magicbands will those magicbands still be shipped to me or will they cancel the order when I cancel the hotel?

Remember that the magic band is specific to the person and not the resort so where you end up staying is irrelevant...as long as it's on property. Once you finalize the resort, you would want to do "on line checkin" a few days before your arrival just to be sure.

The only information on the magic band is an identifier that identifies "you"...all other info pertaining to your resort, park tickets, dining plan, etc. is kept on the Disney computers, somewhere in the cloud.
