Changing resort reservations

I've changed my resort reservation about 6 times. I think I've finally made up my mind, but am a little embarrassed about calling to change it again. Is there a limit to how many changes you can make?

I have joked that my reservation got tired of me changing it and took the ability away on MDE.

But in all seriousness, I don't think it's an issue. You want what you want. I AM pondering changing from AoA LM to Sports Preferred - it would save me about $165 over the 8 days IF no discounts come out - which I know would not apply to the LM room. And I'll have to call to do that because MDE thinks I've changed enough.

nothing wrong with changing resorts as many times as you like, but you may want to take your time and think about which resort will fit your time in Disney best (whether pool, close proximity to park, food options, etc.) and just go with that.

Don't be embarrassed! I'm the same way, super indecisive and always end up changing something, whether it be dates or resorts.

I use a TA most of the time so I do feel a little bad, I'm sure she gets super annoyed with me, so I try to keep my changes to a minimum when working with her But, its my money and my vacation so I want it to be exactly what I want!

You and me both! I loved that feature when it first showed up. I didn't make a single reservation that I didn't change in some minor (and a few major) ways. Now, I can't change at all without calling. And since that's a PITA, I don't. Mostly that means lost money for Disney too. 99% of my changes were up in resort rooms in one way or another. Sometimes I would see that total to change and think, wow, that's not much, I can add that on without breaking the budget. Now that I can't see it "in black and white" so to speak, I don't bother. Probably saving me money

Interesting, I've changed my reservation in MDE a few times. Never had to call. I'm less than 60 days out bow and finally settled on what we're doing!

Mine was letting me for a while. Then the change link disappeared leaving only the cancel link. NOW it has a change link, but all I get is "no rooms are available" if I try it on there, but if I mock-book the same room + MYW as a new reservation, there are plenty. So I will call - either in the break between afternoon and evening sessions of parent-teacher or in the long evening hours when I have one parent signed up for about halfway through.

Mine is still there but if I click Change Reservation it brings me right back to the My Reservations and Tickets page. It won't even bring up the Change page at all.

Thank you all for the encouragement. I called and they were super nice about it like always, and for the first time I feel really good about my decision!

I totally get it. I called and changed mine also. One thing I really love about Disney is they never try to talk you out of the change - even if it's ending up less money. (Or they've never tried to talk me out of it.) My agent today was like "Let's see what the price is and see if we can save you some money!" And I don't know what magic she worked, but it came out $100 LESS than I was finding if I looked at it like...

OH! I know what it is! I reserved the package before the price hike! Looking at it as if a new one was with the new ticket prices! Mystery solved!

Sorry. Tangent there. But she was AWESOME! Even took my requests and read them back to me. And laughed when I said "Got any Rivers of Light packages for that time yet?" and said "GIRL! I wish! We don't even know when they're putting the next batch in!"
