I need to change a reservation from 4 nights to 2 at the Royal Pacific in Oct. - I have an Entertainment Card rate. Tried to do it through Loews 1800 number and they told me I couldn't - that I have to call inhouse reservations at RP on Mon.
Do they charge a fee to change reservations? Will I be able to keep my rate? anyone with experience?

We're going down over Christmas and due to a change in our flights, had to change our reservations just a bit.I,originally booked through LOEWS and that's who I called to change it and there was NO problem. She changed it and there was NO charge. You might want to try c alling LOEWS again on Monday.Good luck:)

I called Loews and changed from RPR to HRH and had no problems they gave me the accounting departments number so I could get my reservation deposit switched over but that is it.

I changed from PBH to RPH and went from 10 nights to only 5 nights and they refunded my deposit in full to PBH and change to RPH no problem. The Lowes rate was to good to pass up for RPH.

When I booked the RP at the Entertainment rate, I was told I had to book a 3-night minimu stay. I originally only wanted two nights, but had to book three to get the $99 deal.

I just changed my reservations at the RP from 3 nights to 2 nights. I booked with the Entertainment Rate. I was told that my rate would not change. When I stayed at the HRH this past October, I only stayed for 2 nights and paid the Entertainment rate. I was never told of a 3 night minimum stay requirement to receive the Entertainment rate.

I forgot to mention that you should try calling this number 1-888-322-5541 and see if they can change the reservations for you. No fee should be charged for changes made this early. I think the hotel charges a fee for any changes made within a few days of arrival.

Update: I called back today (sunday) , the loews 1 800 number and got a different person. She was able to modify the reservation for me (apparently she knew how to do an override that the guy didn't know how to do the other night) it took a little time but she made the reservation for two nights instead of three and told me I had the same rate as before (the 99$ entertainment rate). She said the hotel is full for late Oct. !! Can't imagine why. I keep the same confirmation number. Hope it works all out like it is supposed to!
