I have a Boardwalk View 2 bedroom reserved for Dec 11-18. We now only need a 1 bedroom. Does anyone know if they will allow me to just remove the 2nd bedroom (since they are lock-offs) from my reservation or will I have to change the whole thing and risk losing my BW view?

You will have to change the whole thing and get a new reservation. Sorry.

It's a cancel and rebook. So there would have to be availability for the 1 bedroom for you to do this. Sorry.

If you do not want to lose the Boardwalk view and are willing to keep the 2 bedroom if necessary, go ahead and waitlist for the BW view 1 bedroom. If it comes through, they can cancel the 2 bedroom. But make sure the waitlist is set to expire at the 31 day mark so that you don't end up with points in holding if it comes through after that.

Good luck!

Is it a lock off? I know that Dec is a popular time you could rent the other room.

Since the reservation is for a 2 bedroom, both the 1 bedroom side and the studio side would have the same room keys. That would be a deal breaker for me as the owner, especially if I wanted to get a dining plan.

It owuld be a deal breaker for me as a renter, too, especially since the reservation would not be in my name.

Unless the "renter" was family or friend, I wouldn't do it and even then, maybe not.
