We just booked Port Orleans Riverside for the special dining package. We are there for a week and have already put down our deposit. The rest of the amount is due July 11th. Anyways now that I have told my sister a little bit about the resort she was fine with it until she head it was exterior hallways. She doesn't like it at all and now wants to change it to one of the Deluxe Resort . Can we change our resort and still get the deals or will we lose the special dining package? We have stayed at the Willderness for three trips now, anyone recommend a resort for us? Thank you for your help in advance :flower:

Just got off the phone with Disney making changes to our reservations with the free dining and was told that today is the last day to make changes without losing your free dining.

We had been debating adding another night and bringing a friend of our daughters with us. At these rates couldn't afford not to.

argggggggggggg I am so frutrated. I guess I can't change my reservation to another resort since I booked it with a TA. Gosh so dissapointed. If only I found out about this package sooner, then I would have more time

I know a lot of people like the inside hallways, but unless your room is at the end, everyone has to pass your room to get to theres, but with the moderates there are only about 6-8 rooms on one side which cuts down on traffic outside your room. Which we have found this also cuts down the noise.

Lalita,

Just a thought...

If you should cancel the POR, can you get all of your deposit back...assuming you must do so by July 11? If this is the case for you, you could put down another deposit for different resort today. This might buy you a little time to decide which of the two resorts to stay in. You can always cancel this 2nd reservation and get your deposit back...provided you are not within the 45 day window of your arrival date.

I have until July 25 (45 days before arrival date) to cancel my reservation for a Sept. booking with the free dining package. If I cancel before then, I will get my full deposit back; otherwise, I'll have to pay a small to large fee for canceling...depending on how close it is to the arrival date.

My advice would be to talk to a Disney reservation agent about your options. Maybe the door is not closed for you afterall.

Good luck with your decision.

We just got back from a couple of nights at CBR (1st floor corner room) and we had less noise there with the outside corridors than we had at AKL with the inside ones.

You should not have any problems.
