Changing Person on SW Reservation?

Hello,
All ressies to and from WDW have been made & we're using SW for our flights. We're leaving in 17 days!! Yesterday we found out our DD's gf cannot take the trip with us, so we want to add her other gf in her place. In other words, A can't go, but K wants to fill in for her (lucky kids!). I have to call TA tomorrow to change WDW ressie to K, and that's gonna cost $50 from what I understand, but what do I do about SW?

Has anyone done this and what should I do? Thanks!

I don't think they can just change the name on the airline ticket. They will cancel the original ticket and use the funds to pay for a new ticket. The catch is you will have to pay any increase in the fare. Luckily SW does not charge a change fee.

I just got off the phone with SW. She cancelled the one girls reservation while I was online rebooking the other girls ressie with the travel funds. Very quick and Thank God painless! I was lucky enough to get the Same Exact Fare going both ways so I didn't have to pay out of pocket

You cannot change the name on an airline ticket from any airline. You have to do as suggested, cancel the ticket and rebook under the new name.
