Yesterday I went through Disney and changed all our of dining reservations from 3 people to 4, as I thought there might be an extra person joining us (this is during the end of the Food and Wine Festival and Jersey Week). It was very difficult to add an extra person to some of the reservations. They have now decided that they won't be giong. Should I change the number back to 3 or leave it at 4 in case someone else decides to come. I guess my question is would they deny me my reservation, if someone in my party was not there?

I would change as many as possible. I think going down to 3 is going to be easier then up to 4. Most tables are set for 4 anyway, I am sure it wouldn't really help anyone, but its always nice to try.

We had to change ours to 5, that was hard!!

I would leave them alone.
It is always easier to book for 4, as opposed to 3.
If you arrive with 3 instead of 4, it will not be a problem.

They aren't going to deny you your meal. It's always easier to decrease your party size than to increase it so you might want to try to get yours back to three. But, either way, you will still have your reservation.
