Changing park reservation

Can anyone tell me how to switch a reservation from one park to another? Our trip is in late May. I have tried calling dvc only to be on hold forever.

You don't actually switch. You have to cancel the first one and then book the new one.

Yes, it's as @disneydentist says. I would recommend checking the Park Availability Calendar before cancelling your current reservation to see if there is availability at the park you which to change to.
