if I have a room only but I want to add tickets to it to make it a package, do I need to call or can I do online? I don't want to have to pay for tickets until 30 day mark like room so I don't want to buy tickets and link.

You will probably have to call. It's technically a rebooking.

As the pp said, you will have to call. Also wanted to mention that it's not as easy as just adding tickets to a RO reservation to make it a package. If you want an actual package and not buy tickets separately and link them, your RO will have to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new deposit of $200. Since RO and packages are different reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.

Maybe a silly question - but is there any advantage to making it a package? Unless there is a special promo going on for a room/ticket package that is discounted, but it sounded like you were just trying to add tickets and just didnt want to pay the package cost earlier. Cant you just buy the tickets on MDE and they are in your account? Rather than go through all this rebooking nonsense.

Depending on how many days you are going, have you looked at discounted tickets from Undercover Tourist or Park Savers?

The OP doesn't want to pay for the tickets at all until the package date. But I assume wants to make FP arrangements at 60 days, and you have to have tickets to do that.
