Changing Number of People on my ADR's

Hi. We are all set to go Nov 30 - Dec 6th. I have all my dining reservations for 3 people - me, my DH and my DD 3 1/2. Now my husband is backing out on me. So - it's going to be just me and DD. Can I change my dining reservations to 2 instead of 3 or am I going to lose them all?

Please help!!

Thanks!

Yes... you should be able to change them with no problems since you are taking away one person.... if you were adding someone then there might be a problem. Sorry to hear your hubby is backing out. When we first made our reservations, my DH wasn't planning on going with us, but I guess he just couldn't stand the fact that we were going to be having loads of fun without him, so he decided to come along and lucky enough, I was able to add him to our ressies. :)

Well, I called to change our reservations from 4 to 3 (MIL decided not to come) and there was no availability for 3 :confused3 so I'm leaving it until that day. I'd call and see what they say and if there is any other availability and go from there. Good luck....I hope you have better luck than I did....

I had to change our ADR's from two to three and they had to make another whole reservation, so we had different times and some we missed out on so had to rearrange (and we were there for 21 nights and did 2 table service meals a day so we had a lot to change).

But I don't understand why someone changing from four people to three people would suddenly not be possible, three people would still have to sit at a table for four :confused3 .

Anyway because you are changing from three to two (possibly a smaller table they will make a whole new ADR).

Good luck with it, hopefully all of the meals you were wanting will still be available. :goodvibes

My husband did the same thing to me last year - he opted for more golfing and skipped a few days in the parks. When I called, I was told that there was no availability for 2 (although our ADRs were for 3) so I just left things as they were.

When we got to the restaurant, I told the woman at the counter that my husband couldn't make it. It really was not a problem at all.

Good luck and have fun! :goodvibes

We had reservations for 5 at Chef Mickey's and I too tried to call when the other family backed out and it was just the 3 of us. Over the phone they said they couldn't do it but for us to just show up. We did and they sat us without any problem.

I would keep them the way they are unless it's a Dinner Show or CA.
You never know- he might change his mind and then it'll be too hard to change them back.

This year I noticed that some places had tables for 3 so I can see why they would change your reservation.

My opinion is that it is best to stick with what you have. Things may even change between now and your trip. Who knows, your husband may come to his senses.:rotfl:

Yes, the CM I spoke to on the phone said that they might have tables set up against a wall for only a three topper table. I was confused when she told me that there wasn't anything available, so I just told her to leave ours alone. I worked too hard to lose my 1900 PF ADR....:goodvibes
