Changing number of people on dining reservation

Running in the Star Wars 10k in January. We're going down with friends. However, the husband just started a new job and isn't sure he'll be able to make it. Since we have to enter in a credit card to hold a reservation, will there be an issue if one less person shows up? Or can I just call a few days before to change it? I'll be going from 7 down to 6 at Naples restaurant.

You should be fine; it's usually easier to reduce the party size than increase the party size. The no show fee is only charged if no one from your party shows up for the reservation. So as long as some of you show up, you won't be charged the no show fee for the folks that weren't able to make it.

There was not an issue when when we had one less person for our Easter Sunday character meal.
