Changing nights for tickets?

Has anyone ever had any luck changing the night they bought special event tickets for? I want to change the night I bought tickets for MVMCP. I know they are non-refundable/transferable, but you never know. Do you think I will be wating my time?

1) Under special cicumstances, WDW will change the date.
2) Doesn't happen often.
3) Give them a call and tell them your reason.

I once changed my night. We had originally had MVMCP tix on the last night of our vacation, and the forecast was for rain (that year, it was unusually rainy for December and a number of parties were in the pouring rain). I went to City Hall and was able to change then for a Sunday (ours were for Tuesday). I did it early in the vacation. The CM told me as long as the party wasn't sold out it was ok. This was a few years ago, tho.

Called today, no problem she said, just no refunds ... who would want that?? Thanks for the info.
