Changing name on reservations

I currently have 2 reservations in my name that I need to change. One is my mom and one is a friend. Can I call and do it or do they need to do something too?

You have to call MS to change the lead guest. You can change other guests online by using the modify button.

Chat is a great option to change the lead guest if you don't like being on the phone.

That's not necessary for changing the lead guest. I've heard of that for transferring points from one person to another.

Chat is the way to go, if you already have them listed as a guest on the res, it takes seconds for them to do it once you have a chat person.

So I should make sure they’re listed on the reservation and chat to have them switched to lead guest. I think I just put them in my husbands name because that was the default.

I dont know that you have to, but I assume it'll be quicker if you do since you dont have to give any info. Just chat and give res #, say hey I need to remove so and so as lead and have this other person in the res now be lead. Otherwise I guess you would need to give all the info for who the res would now be under. If already there they just delete you and select the other person.
