Changing from MYW Package to AP Discount

If you booked a MYW package with dining and Park tickets. How easy would it be or what problems would you encounter, if you changed to an AP discount with a DDE card, when the AP rates finally come out.




Also, would there be a problem transfering the same room type if the resort was sold out? I would think not because you already have a room reserved that you are just transfering to a different type of reservation, but I could be wrong.

You'd probably be subject to whatever cancellation penalties that your package had.

You can only get an AP discount if a discount is offered for the dates, resort and room type you're looking for. A sold out resort would not be offering any discounts.

Booking a reservation on spec makes no sense. If the resort is empty holding an existing reservation is irrelevent and if the resort is so full that you want to reserve in case it sells out then discounts won't be offered.

I'm planning to go in Aug. I'm waiting to reserve until I see what discounts; code, PIN or AP become available. I know I can always book at rack rate.
