Changing from 2BR to 1BR mid week...

Just found out that family is coming over from Tampa for the first night of our vacation. If we book a 2BR for the first night then switch it to a 1BR, will we just be able to close the lockoff and keep the same room? Point wise it is cheaper to do this than book an extra studio, but I really don't want to to change rooms. Gosh...I have to think about what this does to our ADRs and dining plan too. (Just when you think you are done planning. )

As with most things, this would be a request and not a guarantee - BUT - they should be able to honor the request. (It would be a lot tougher if you had the 1BR first and wanted to add the 2bd BR later.)

Be sure to request a lock-off 2BR and not just a 2BR and be sure to have them note what you want to do when making the reservation.

We have done this several times without a problem, but be sure to let MS know your plans with the first call.
