I am not sure if this is correct spot to post this but it has to do with airlines so here goes. I have a reservation at WL for my family of 4 (2 AD 2 kids) in Sept, also 4 round trip tickets on Delta . Now my husband found out that his work may not let him have the time off for the trip. Very sad but he is only so so on Disney anyway so he is ok with it. I on the other hand am proud to be a Disney fanatic. My mother went with us on our last trip and loved it and is slowly becoming as Disney crazy as I am. So now the question. Can I change the reservation from my husband to my mother and if so how. Also, can I change the name on the airline ticket and if so how. If anyone has had anything like this happen please help. Thanks

Hi,

I suggest you call Delta directly and ask them about the situation. Their toll free number is 800 221 1212.

Good luck!

Bob

I can tell you the answer in advance. If you bought the tickets separately from the room, you'll have to cancel your husband's ticket and rebook it. This will cost you the cancellation penalty (probably $100), plus any difference in fare.

If you bought the ticket as part of a package bundled with the room, I think you are just out of luck---usually, you must cancel an entire package if you cancel any component of it, and it would be cheaper to buy your mom a whole new ticket and eat the other one than it would to pay four cancellation fees.
