This thread makes me sick. I wasn’t going to post, but here goes.

First, Pete and John are not only business geniuses, but they are generous and genuine. They treat their employees like family, and that is why they are successful. They offer a great Free product for us to come to everyday for our Disney escape. The podcast should change and evolve. It only gets better.

Thanks Pete/John and the rest of the amazing podcast crew. I haven’t had the opportunity to attend any events, and I like to hear what’s going on…a girl can dream.

The best part of this board was that it was free of this nonsense.

Why do a few people have to ruin things? Grow up. My ds came home yesterday saying that a 10th grader in school committed suicide…it’s the 3rd suicide this year in his school. As parents we are faced with the hows, why’s and tell our kids that things are never that bad. Three families are dealing with the unimaginable. Where do the bullies come from that cause such anguish in our children?

My point of relaying this sad event is that words hurt…whether spoken or written, no matter what your age. Life's way to short, so stop this nonsense.

What is your agenda? Why do people come here to post things that they know will upset and infuriate others? Is it worth it?

If you don’t like the rules, views or podcasts just do us all a favor and leave quietly.

I'mat a total loss for words at this point. I've been the instigator of some serious flaming threads before (not here, thankfully), and this one leaves them in the dust. I also think this is a prime example of how an opinion can be expressed, over and over again, that's contrary to what's established and expected, and continue to go unchecked by board administrators, here on the DIS. Most other places, this would have been shut down long ago. If this isn't an example of an open fourm, I don't know what is.

May I say I was shocked & disgusted that somone would use a memorial as a job interview. Talk about self-serving.
As for the new additions to the podcast not being known fans of disney-I like that. Not everyone who listens to the podcast is an expert so learning new things is great.
Truly I was surprised at the anger & yes, venom of some the these posts.
These boards are not about world peace they are about a very happy place.

I read Pete's rant on gay days called "Get a Room!" and I really appreciated his candor. He was right on the money with every single thing he said and I really appreciated it. I gained a LOT of respect for him when I read that blog.
