Changing dates of disney trip using My Disney Experience

If i need to change the dates of my disney room reservation, can i do this myself on the my disney experience and just leave my deposit and change the dates for my vacation.

Typically, you can do modifications online. If you are trying to change dates and keep the same resort/room category, sometimes you may find it is not in inventory for the dates you want to change to - in this case, you would need to call in or pick something that is available for your new dates.

My understanding is if you do not have trip insurance you can change online.

When you have insurance you may not be able to.
