Changing Cruise before PIF date

We booked a cruise in Feb for May and have decided to try something different and wait until next year to go another cruise. MY PIF date is 3/15 so I went on today to move it and it tells me I can't alter this reservation that I need to call. Any idea why? Did I wait to late to move it? I thought as long as I was before the 75days there was no penalty (its just a standard room). I can't call until after work today so was just wondering if anyone knew why.

Did you use a travel agent? Did you book a VGT, IGT or OGT?

Are you booked thru a TA? If so, you will need to have them modify the trip for you.

No TA but we did book while on-board a cruise but I have been able to move an OBB before online.

There have been some changes to the OBB process now. There is a deadline you must take the cruise by in order to maintain the OBB benefits, as well as "black-out" dates now.

Maybe having to call now is the way that DCL can monitor this better.
