Changing credit cards

I'm guessing this is not possible but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Can I change the credit card that my cruise is booked on? I have a new card with travel insurance but the entire cost of the cruise must be booked on it to take advantage of the insurance. I have already paid the deposit on another card, of course. I don't want to cancel and rebook because the cost of the cruise has gone up $1500 since I booked! Am I out of luck this time around?

I believe you'd have to cancel the current reservation, and make a new one to be paid in full with the new card. There's no way to switch a payment already charged to one card to a different one.
