Changing CC for HDDR

I really want to make our ADR for the HDDR but my Disney rewards card has yet to arrive. If I use my visa card now can I call and change the card after it comes or should I just wait?

No, you can't change the card. It's charged at the time you make the reservation.

If on the dining plan only a small $1 fee will be charged to hold the reservation

if not on dining plan I do not think you can change the card as it will have already been charged to card when you make ressie

You can always make the ressie - cancel it when your new card comes in (it'll take time tho to get old card refunded) and rebook it with new card. IMO a lot of work for what probably doesn't amount to much in rewards tho.

and if you cancel and rebook you will be further back in the ressie line, you loose the spot you have had and every one who booked after you and before you rebook will move ahead of you. most likely you will not have same table you woold have had
