Changing Attractions

Does anyone know why there's a gift shop inside the Main Street Cinema at WDW? I know it's been there a while but why did they have to go and sell out on us? Didn't they remember, as Walt said, we must not lose sight it was all started by a mouse?

So they stuck the mouse way in the back of some unknown store on Main Street, hidden from most people who would have otherwise walked right by? Not exactly what Walt had in mind is it? All in the name of making a buck.

You might want to remember Mr. Toad got ripped out in favor of the more popular (higher selling) Winnie the Pooh.
