On our first cruise this past week we booked onboard for Alaska. Hubby isn't 'sold' on it - if we changed our reservation to, say, a Carribean cruise, would we pay the existing rate on the DCL website or would our price still be 10% less than the published rate? Would they refund some of my current deposit or just keep it all? I know I would lose half of the OB credit if the cruise is less than 7 days. Thanks!

You would still be entitled to the 10% discount off the new cruise as long as it was within the 2 years and not a blackout date.

I don't know about keeping the deposit you paid sorry. If you cancelled totally (either the Alaska or a new cruise) you would get your money back as long as it was before the PIF date (I think that's the right date.)

You still get the 10% off but do tell them that you want to move the discount to the new cruise date. They will also apply the deposit to the new reservation as long as you are not past the paid in full date or pass the 18 or 24 month from date of the original reservation. Just give them your reservation number when you call.
