Changing airport w/ Dollar

I had a change in plans and now am flying in and out of TPA instead of MCO. We are renting a car w/ Dollar....when I try to modify the rez the price has jumped $50...(I used a code to get a great rate.) Is there any way I can get the original rate? This rate also jumped at MCO (so the airport change doesn't matter) Has anyone else experienced this??

I got a new Dollar Express membership and tried to modify my existing code-dicsounted ressie with adding the member ID. It too jumped $50.00, so that doesn't matter either.

I'm glad I kept the original ressie!

Tried to do same thing earlier this week. I called & customer service said the entire reservation had to be cancelled & rebooked. Their system will not allow you to change locations

So, do you suggest I rebook now, using my code, and hope that the rate drops?

yes, there is no sense keeping the MCO car if you are doing Tampa. Book now & watch for drops. Keep canceling & book new if necessary. Have the great trip
