Changing ADR time at T-Rex

We have reservations thru MDE for T-Rex at 5:00 in early March.
I'm wanting to back that up to 6 or 6:30 if possible.
Do I have to cancel and rebook my ADR (if that time is available) or can I call the restaurant directly and see if they have availability to make the switch?
Since the site isn't Disney owned, if I called and they could make the time switch, would the new time reflect in MDE or would it still show the old time?

Call the restaurant. I believe if you book through them, you will still need to cancel yur ADR yourself. Different systems.

You can call T-Rex and make the reservation for the time you want. The new reservation will not automatically show up in your MDE account because it was not made through Disney. Also, be sure to cancel the reservation you made for 5 PM or you will be charged the no show fee.
