One of my sisters might not be able to travel to WDW this summer as planned because of surgery.

What happens to our signature reservations with a credit card guarantee if only two people arrive to have dinner instead of three?

She will not know if the surgery is scheduled until very close to our trip dates.
We are all very disappointed.

Thanks,

According to the WDW Dining FAQ, you will not be charged any fee if the party shows up, even short a few people. However, in practice, they may not be totally consistent. The policy is notice on the day before though, so you should have plenty of time once you know for sure which way things swing.

Overall, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If they attempt to charge you, you can point out their own policy to them and it should be enough to turn it over.

Wishing your sister the best of luck

Thank you Cafeen! I appreciate the input. I wasn't thinking of just a "no show" vs. one less diner. Your answer made complete sense.
